Many households feel uncertain about emergency preparedness and don’t know what they actually need. Traditional checklists overwhelm rather than motivate, leading to hesitation instead of action.

How can preparedness become understandable, engaging — and actionable?

The Solution

The Solution

I developed an interactive emergency preparedness simulation, which places them in a realistic emergency scenario where they must make simple decisions. Each choice affects how many hours they “survive,” turning preparedness into an learning experience. They should relate to some of the scenarios, to make them better prepared even for the unexpected "emergencies" happening inside the household.


Surviving longer doesn’t mean winning, it means learning.
